Destination Coromandel

Our Council is the major funder of our Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO) Destination Coromandel (DC), along with support from the Hauraki District Council. Destination Coromandel is responsible for domestic and international visitor marketing for the wider-Coromandel region.

DC works closely with event organisers, our Visitor Information Centres and the travel industry in New Zealand. They're passionate about tourism and are always looking for new ideas and partnerships - why not give them a call.

Visitor Information Centres

Our Council is the major funder of 6 Visitor Information Centres (which includes 2 i-Sites and 4 Information Centres). Local information is a vital piece in the tourism experience puzzle and these Centres play a major role in tourism on the Coromandel.
