Protected Disclosures Policy
The purpose of this policy is to promote the public interest by:
- facilitating the disclosure and investigation of matters of serious wrongdoing in Thames-Coromandel District Council or by Thames-Coromandel District Council; and
- protecting Employees who, in accordance with this policy and the Protected Disclosures Act 2000, make disclosures of information about serious wrongdoing in Thames-Coromandel District Council or by Thames-Coromandel District Council.
The policy sets out the procedures for an allegation of serious wrongdoing to be made and the obligations of Council to act on any such allegations.
