We are seeking applications for the role of Pound Keeper based at the Thames Pound. This is a hands-on position where you will be responsible for the operational management of the facility providing high quality animal care, ensuring health and safety is maintained and working closely with stakeholders and members of the public. This is a permanent part time role with some flexibility in hours to service the needs of the Pound, with opportunity to promote positive educational messages to local community groups and schools.

Reporting to our Compliance and Bylaws Team leader, within the Regulatory Team this role is challenging and varied where no two days will be the same. You will have a personality that lets you develop strong working relationships and still have a laugh. Your communication will be top-notch to convey technical messages in a manner that can be easily understood and acted upon so you can positively influence situations. You will be good at record keeping with a strong eye for detail and accuracy. Above all else, you will be passionate about animal welfare.
