Navigation - finding your way around the site

The main subject and information categories are displayed across the top of all pages, so you can quickly move from one area to another. As you navigate through the site you will find the sub-sections in each category displayed on the main page.

At all times, you will see your current position within the website displayed in a "breadcrumb" trail at the top of the page (right underneath the main banner) and you can use these links or the back button of your browser to go back to previous pages.


Everything A to Z

Everything A to Z is located within the main banner, above the search box. This page provides a comprehensive list of all services provided and information available about the Council. Just click on the appropriate letter and you will be presented with a list of words - C for Contact us.


Search

If you are not sure how to find the information page you want, you can use our Everything A to Z or the Search function to find it. Everything A to Z is simplicity itself - just click on the appropriate letter and you will be presented with a list of keywords to choose from.

To use the Search option within our website, simply type one or more search words into the search box, click on the magnifying glass icon and you will be presented with a list of results.Choose your search words carefully, you need only enter key words not whole sentences. The search box is on every page, in the top right hand corner.


Information Categories

The main navigation at the top of each page consists of six categories:

  • Your Council
    Information about your elected representation and how to contact them, about your elected representatives and how to contact them, our mission, vision and objectives as well as information about how the Council works, and how to get involved.

  • Economic Development
    In this section you'll find out about all our economic development initiatives, our software development programme, IT Cluster and how to get support and information about doing business here.

  • Our Services
    We deliver 26 activities on the Coromandel on behalf of our residents, ratepayers and visitors, such as wastewater, stormwater, boat ramps, community halls and libraries. Within these activities there are literally dozens of different services. This section of our website provides details about these services and how to access them.

  • Thames Valley Emergency Management
    This is the website for our Civil Defence agency, hosted by TCDC in Thames. In this section you'll find out about the hazards on the Coromandel that may affect you and how to prepare for and survive an emergency situation and how we can work together to get life back to normal.

  • Have Your Say
    For more information about the opportunities available for community input about various issues. This section provides details on items currently open for consultation.

  • Visiting or moving to the Coromandel
    In this section we'll provide you with links and information about all to do and see on the Coromandel as well information about our history and heritage. Understandably, visitors fall in love with the Coromandel and want to live here, so this section will also be helpful to investigate how to move to paradise!

Links to related information are displayed in the left hand side under the headings, Related Information or Useful Links. Related Information links will take you to other pages within our website and Useful Links to external sites. 

Download documents are also available on most pages, We will provide you with information about the type of document (e.g. PDF) and the size of the document.

Although we try and put as much information on our website as possible, there is a chance that we haven't published a document, or piece of information you are looking for.
