Changes to Kerbside collections after ANZAC Day 23 April 2018 Anzac Day is this Wednesday, 25 April, and there will be some changes to our regular Kerbside collection schedule as we work around the public holiday. Kerbside collections will be a day later than usual in areas where the regular collection day falls on or after Anzac Day. This includes: Thames and Surounds, Thames South Rural, Coromandel Town and Te Kouma. If you live in these areas, make sure you put your blue bags out a day later than usual this week. For all other areas, where the regular collection day is before Wednesday, the collection day is the same as usual. Recycling collections For our fortnightly wheelie bin and glass crate collections, this week is 'week 1' in the collection schedule. The sticker on the side of your bin will show the number 1 or 2 next to your collection day - this number is your recycling week. If you won't be around to put your official blue bag and recycling out on the right day, just take your blue bags and recycling to your nearest Refuse Transfer Station and they’ll take them off your hands - free-of-charge. See www.tcdc.govt.nz/rts for locations.
