Finalists announced in 2018 Hauraki Coromandel Business Awards 11 September 2018 The cream of another great crop of local businesses have been selected as finalists in this year’s Hauraki Coromandel Business Awards. The top of the crop in each category, plus an overall supreme winner, will be announced 27 September at a special awards evening. Awards organiser Kate Rigg says the finalists come from all corners of the region and are a great reflection of the growing innovative and diverse business community thriving on our doorstep. "There is a huge range of businesses doing exciting things here. These awards are all about taking some time to celebrate their successes and reflect on the important contribution they make to our communities,” she says. “Successful businesses mean successful communities.” This year’s entries included businesses ranging from clothing brands to firewood supplies and Ms Rigg says the judges' decision was every bit as difficult as it was last time round. But the awards are about much more than winning. The entry process is a great opportunity for business owners to review their processes with the help of some of the top business advisors in the Waikato.
