Learn to Swim lessons in Thames - cancelled

Thames Centennial Pool has cancelled Learn to Swim lessons for the remainder of the term as a precaution due to COVID-19 because of the close proximity needed during lessons between instructors and children.

The pool remains open to casual swimmers for fun and fitness.

Children registered in Learn to Swim can still come to the pool to swim at no charge during their usual lesson times. For those who don't wish to come to swim, a process to offer a refund is being put in place.

Many thanks for your patience and understanding.

Thames-Coromandel District Libraries

Toddler Time and the Lego Clubs are cancelled at our District libraries until further notice.

Knitting Club at Thames library has also been cancelled until further notice, however the Need a Nerd and Justice of the Peace sessions (both of which are one-on-one) will continue.

At Thames library please use the automatic door at the northern end of the building (by the car park) to reduce cross contamination. Our libraries have rearranged the furniture to meet social distancing recommendations and increased cleaning. Hand sanitiser is also available at the desk.
