Application to amend, cancel or voluntary suspend a Food Registration

Amend food registration - If your food registration details require amending i.e., changes to your scope of operations or current operator's contact details etc. you need to notify us.

Cancel food registration - If you sell or close your food business, you are required to advise us so we can cancel your registration.

Voluntary suspension - If you are not currently trading but wish to keep your food registration active i.e., close your business over winter and reopen in spring, you can choose to voluntarily suspend your food registration for a minimum period of 3 months to a maximum period of 12 months. Voluntarily suspending your registration means that you are not required to have a verification during the period of suspension.

For either of the above situations you need to complete the Amend, cancel or suspend a food registration notification form.
